The St George Illawarra Dragons have finally put it all together to blow away their NRL opponent yesterday in the ANZAC Clash at ANZ Stadium, Homebush. The rejuvinated Dragaons with Jamie Soward at pivot and Ben Hornby at halfback looked much crisper in attack and put on plenty of points as the Roosters wilted and died.
The likes of Willie Mason and Mark OMeley had to deal with traffic galore as the Dragons got up in their face and rarely allowed they to have nay impact in the game.
The NRL Results are the best in a while for the Dragons as they struggle to keep in touch with other clubs on the NRL ladder.
With the bye coming their way next week however, the Dragons are back in touch with the majority of the pack and are well placed for a mid season assault on the table.
With Nathan Brown leaving at years end, it might be looking brighter by the day for the Dragons as Wayne Bennett gets ready to take the reigns of the long suffering team.
Man of the match for the Dragons was Josh Morris, the rangy outside back who is off to the Bulldogs at the end of the year defused plenty of bombs and was a handful in attack, helping the Dragons to only their 2nd win of the 2008 season.
