The no.1 forward in the NRL, Sonny Bill Williams has parted company with his long time friend and manager Gavin Orr. Breaking ties with Orr's "Pacific Sports Management" group to link with Anthony Mundines manager Khoder Nasser.
A huge move by SBW.
Orr has nurtured SBW from a 15 year old kid and helped him achieve some major success in the NRL through gaining him solid contracts with the Bulldogs. Obviously befriending Mundine and getting closer to the Nasser camp in recent times, SBW has taken the big leap and many feel religion might be the next step - with SBW possibly taking on Mundine's muslim religion.
It will be interesting to see the future path of NRL Rugby League star Sonny Bill Williams. Recently coming out of his shell on a NRL Footy Show interview with Phil Gould, SBW told Gus how he wants to be more of a public figure and assist Polynesian Rugby League players.
The Bulldogs mangement and board are now dealing directly with Khoder Nasser in relation to SBW's contract - leaving Gavin Orr and his Pacific Sports Management on the outer.
Let's hope Sonny Bill Williams knows what he is doing, you never know we could see him in a boxing ring soon! But for now, surely NRL Results must be the focus for him and his Bulldogs.
