Cowboys try to harness bad boys

The NRL season hasn't kicked off yet, but the North Queensland Cowboys have already had to throw a rope around star half Jonathan Thurston. The classy ball player has been busted for drunken behaviour and thrown before a judge - all before a ball is kicked in 2008.
Already in trouble during 2007 for a drunken incident its the second strike for halfback Thurston and it follows hot on the heels of his NRL team mates David Faiumu and Steve Southern from the Cowboys both in trouble with the drink in late 2007.
The Cowboys must work hard to close down the party culture within their side or risk sliding from the Top 8 in this years camping.
