NRL News
The recent fight between Roosters players in Wollongong has seen a spate of comments and allegations from the locals who were involved in the altercation. After the wallet of Roosters player Shaun Kenny-Dowall was stolen, Kenny-Dowall and teammate Sa, set about finding the culprits.
After tracking down the guys that had the wallet, things became heated when it seemed as though the locals had stolen $100 cash from the wallet before handing it back. Around 10 locals were involved in discussions with the Roosters players and it's alleged that Roosters player Sa threw the first punch wildly and injured one of the group of 10.
While initially the 10 were said to be involved against only 2 Roosters players, reports and allegations now suggest that only a couple were involved directly in fisticuffs with Kenny-Dowall and Sa. Never the less, it's the last thing Roosters officials and supporters want to see as continued bad press and player rumblings may hurt NRL Results as the season draws near.
Police are still investigating the situation after the Roosters players made a report to local Police about the alleged theft.
