John Hopoate returning to Rugby League

Is this guy serious? The original human headline John Hopoate returns to Rugby League circles after having a long term ban overturned, enabling him to play NSWRL park football and paving the way for a possible NRL return should any club want him. Why would any club in the big time want him? Their NRL Results would quite possibly be affected with someone like Hoppa around, always prone to suspension or serious conduct charges that could possibly see clubs fined or docked points.

Long before the likes of Willie Mason and the human headlines of today's NRL world, Hopoate was the original bad boy. Engaging in dirty tactics on the field and eventually ending up poking fingers up rival players bottoms- earning him the nick name "GoldFinger!" in some circles.

Hoppa was always a timebomb and regardless of his religious belief's or the support of his family - no one will stop this guy from being an out of control madman. It will only take some sledging from a rival player or fans to get 'the real Hoppa' out of his skin and you will no doubt see him on a news headline soon.

The NSW Rugby League is wrong to have allowed John Hopoate back into Rugby League circles. A repeat offender who will never be reformed - this guy won't stop until someone is killed or permanently injured.
