It may have been the biggest bluff seen in recent signing times. Andrew Ryan, the face of the Bulldogs in the wake of player revolts and big name departures - only recently the hint was dropped the Ryan wanted out and may return to his former home the Parramatta Eels for NRL 2009.
Well regardless, the Bulldogs haven't wasted any time in locking the solid forward and club captain up. Ryan is poised to sign a deal with the Bulldogs Rugby League club to lock him up in the Doghouse for the rest of his career.
Pending due dilligence by Andrew Ryan and his manager, the signing of the contract will bring stability back to the Bulldogs for NRL 2008 and give Ryan more focus on the year ahead - and less concern about his long term future.
