The Bulldogs obviously fear the Sonny Bill Williams knee injury is worst than first thought. After injuring the knee against the Parramatta Eels last week SBW looked to be making a quick comeback - however, mobile forward Brad Morrin has been put in as a shadow NRL player for Sonny Bill as the Kiwi backrower struggles to keep fit.
Brad Morrin hasn't played first grade since his horror biting incident against the Parramatta Eels last year, when he bit a chunk out of Timana Tahu's arm in an amazing on field Rugby League brain-snap.
Forgetting the biting incident for a moment, Morrin remains a solid mobile forward that can get the job done and might be a handy replacement given the interchange rule of 10 players in the 2008 NRL season rules.
The Bulldogs will be desperate for a win over South Sydney to boost their NRL Results after a horror start against the Eels last week.
Steve Folkes remains under pressure as does several of the Bulldogs players including Reni Matuia, Kane Cleal and Willie Tonga.
It should be a mouth water clash as the South Sydney Rabbitohs too look for their first win of the 2008 NRL season - coach Jason Taylor no doubt wanting to forget the dramas from last week in the "Riley Brown prowler tackle on Craig Wing" which left the prominent Souths utility with a busted shoulder and sending him into the sheds for the next 3-5 months.
